Learn More About Darcy

Known for his laid back and friendly demeanour, Darcy enjoys building long-lasting professional relationships with his clients. He endeavours to gain an in-depth understanding of each patient’s condition, which enables him to provide an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan.

Outside of work, you can find him in the gym or at the beach with his dogs.

Darcy attained a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Queensland, and shortly after, he obtained his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University. Darcy has also completed the Watson Headache Level 1 Foundation Course, after he witnessed a practitioner utilising the unique approach, and the profound results it produced. Darcy looks forward to continuing his education and aims to complete all three levels of certification in the Watson Headache Technique in the near future.

Following completion of his tertiary studies, Darcy actively sought out experience across various health settings to fine-tune his skills in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Darcy’s experience spans from private practice, to community rehabilitation and NDIS.

A longstanding advocate behind the importance of leading a healthy and active lifestyle, Darcy carries his passion for holistic health and wellbeing into the treatment room.
He specifically focuses on utilising the therapeutic relationship between patient and practitioner to identify the cause of musculoskeletal issues, which informs his hands-on approach to treatment, coupled with expert exercise prescription, to ensure optimal outcomes for all of his patients.

Darcy’s upbringing was far from usual. Born in Brisbane, he quickly embarked on an adventure with his family that led him to settle in a total of three different countries and eleven towns, in which he called each home. He moved back to Brisbane in 2013 to further his tertiary education and pursue his career in physiotherapy.

Darcy maintains a very active lifestyle, which he shares with his two dogs (a Staffy and an Australian Koolie) by going for long surfs, working out in the gym and exploring the outdoors with his pups.
