Learn More About Matt

Presenting Matt, the dedicated associate clinician at the Gold Coast MPhysio Clinic! Armed with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University in Albury and 5 years private physiotherapy practice, Matt is the physiotherapist for you! He is especially enthusiastic with anything jaw related, as he has attended TMJ postgraduate courses enhancing his clinical prowess along with a Bachelor in Oral Hygiene from the University of Newcastle.

When he’s not expertly assessing your jaw or the rest of your body, you’ll find him enjoying escape rooms, traveling, exercising, playing board games or cherishing moments with his partner. Experience Matt’s personalised care, attentive listening, and tailored treatment plans for your holistic wellbeing.

Matt completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2018 in Albury, and has been working in private practice for the past 3 years.
He has completed courses in pilates, TMJ, and dry needling since leaving university and most recently, completed the Level 2 Watson Headache Course, to become more expert in headaches and migraines, which is one of Matt’s interest areas.

Matt values every patient and believes in giving the very best care, to the best of his abilities.
Matt aims to take the time to listen to the patient’s concerns and learn how it affects them the most. Then, based on his professional expertise, develop and explain a diagnosis, in order to create a comprehensive treatment plan.
Matt also believes in punctuality and will strive to respect the time and needs of every patient.

In 2012, Matt learned to solo skydive, completing 9 jumps involving turns, speed changes and rolling. Some might say he is our resident airbender!

In 2016, Matt went downhill mountain bike riding down the “World’s Most Dangerous Road” – the famous “Death Road” in Bolivia; we are lucky to have him with us, because true to its name, the road nearly proved to be his end, with Matt nearly losing control on the bumpy, rocky switchback track and plummeting down a mountain cliff!
